Prabin Kulung Rai is an accomplished photojournalist with more than 13 years of professional experience in visual journalism. He currently works as a Photojournalist at NayaPage.com and serves as the Central Secretary of the National Forum of Photojournalists, Nepal (NFPJ Nepal), where he actively contributes to the advancement of photojournalism through professional development, capacity building, and institutional leadership.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, Prabin has received several prestigious national and international honours, including the Madhav Thapa Risk Journalism Award 2082 (2025/26), the Imperial Photojournalist Appreciation Award 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the Buddha Year Photo Award 2082 (2025/26), and the Province No. 1 Tourism Award.

Through his photography, he has consistently documented and promoted Nepal's breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and tourism potential. His photographic works have been exhibited in Nepal, Bangladesh, and China, helping introduce Nepal's natural beauty, cultural diversity, and national identity to international audiences.

Prabin holds a Master's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the Public Administration Campus, Tribhuvan University. His academic background complements his professional expertise in journalism, governance, public policy, and strategic communication.
